Names, titles and truck numbers on crew shirts
A name on the shirt is what turns a tee into a uniform. Battle Born Clothing embroiders names on polos and button-front work shirts and prints them on tees. Name personalization is quoted per job on top of the shirt price; send the roster and we will price it with the rest.
How we do it
- Embroidered names: right chest on a polo or over the right pocket on a mechanic shirt, block or script lettering, 0.4-0.5 inches tall. The most durable option.
- Printed names: for tees, a one-color name under the logo or on the back. For runs where every name differs we usually press a DTF name rather than cut a screen per person.
- Titles and truck numbers: same placement as names. 'Lead Tech', 'Service Manager', 'Truck 14'.
What to send
A spreadsheet with one row per shirt: name as it should appear, style, color, size. We put the roster on the proof so you can check spelling before anything is stitched. Spelling on an approved proof is on you; a misspelling that was right on the proof is on us and we redo it free.
Pricing
Names are quoted per job because the cost depends on how many unique names, the method and the shirt. The logo, the shirt and the quantity tier are priced from the published schedule; names are a line item on top.
Questions
Can I add names to only some shirts?
Yes. Mark the roster rows that get a name. Office polos with names and crew tees without is common.
What happens when someone quits?
You reorder one shirt. No minimum on embroidery, and we keep your logo file, so a single replacement is easy. The per-piece rate at 1-11 is quoted per job.
